Lightweight engineering is regarded as a key technology of the future: in automotive engineering, aerospace engineering, energy technology, architecture, medical technology and even electronics. In times of scarcer resources, climate change and the need to reduce CO2 emissions and increase the efficiency of machines and systems special know-how is needed. This is offered in the master's degree course in "Light Weight Engineering".
