The master's programme in General Management Double Degree ESC Troyes – JKU Linz aims to provide its graduates with the following qualifications: • Critical analysis and reflection of problems from different theoretical perspectives and development of relevant business management qualifications on a scientifically sound basis. The profile includes subject-specific and methodical skills in key management functions, personal and social skills, and especially intercultural skills. • Development of skills to understand and analyse complex topics and problems and to develop possible solutions. • Subject-specific and methodical skills are developed through in-class and self-study of functional management contents. • Students will broaden their professional and methodical horizons to include the perspective of the host country. • The programme is offered in English and partly in French. In this way the students will acquire subject-specific and interdisciplinary active and passive language skills. • The students will acquire personal, social and intercultural skills during two semesters of study in France and in Austria, respectively. This enables the students to get to know and understand management concepts and economic contexts in their respective cultural and intercultural contexts. • Specialisation in selected areas of management enables the graduates to position themselves on the job market with a specific profile.
Das Studium wird von der Universität Linz gemeinsam mit der Ecole Supérieure de Commerce Troyes, Champagne School of Management (ESC) angeboten. Das Studium wird grundsätzlich in Englisch und teilweise in Französisch abgehalten.
