The programme consists of the following modules: introduction, e-tourism, tourism marketing, communication, imagineering, leadership, project and innovation management, chance management, research, ethics and sustainability and foreign language (Chinese, Arabic, Russian) and culture. Students can moreover choose between the specialisation modules hospitality management and destination management. The programme concludes with a master’s thesis and a master’s examination.
The prerequisite for admission to this programme is a completed bachelor's programme in the field of tourism or administration. Moreover, students have to prove that they have good knowledge of English (e.g. TOEFL, IELTS, BEC). Applicants without a completed bachelor's programme in tourism must have the following qualifications: 5 ECTS credits in tourism basics, 5 ECTS credits in tourism management, 2 ECTS credits in scientific research, 2 ECTS credits in IT applications in tourism.
