Definition of the field of studies

The degree programme deals e.g. with the design of digital media and mobile communication, the development of apps, process management and e-business as well as management and organisational development topics. The imparting of soft skills and foreign languages rounds off the interdisciplinary education at the intersection between technology and economics.

Exams

Theory and practice are connected in various courses and project assignments. Students will, for example, program Internet applications, develop case studies in management and organisation, carry out network simulations, compare operating systems and produce video spots. To complete the course successfully students have to write two project-oriented bachelor's theses in the course of the interdisciplinary project assignments. In the last semester students also have to do an internship in Austria or abroad. In this way students can prepare for a future job during their studies.

Entrance examinations

The prerequisite for admission is the general university entrance qualification, an equivalent foreign certificate, a vocational matriculation examination, a university entrance qualification examination, or a subject-relevant professional qualification plus additional examinations.
