Definition of the field of studies

The highly practice-oriented degree programme links basic knowledge in business administration with specialist knowledge in wine business (viticulture and wine production).


Students have to pass examinations in the individual courses and also write a bachelor's thesis. The curriculum also includes a work placement of 22 weeks in the 5th semester.

Entrance examinations

To qualify for admission to the bachelor's programme in International Wine Business you must have an Austrian secondary school leaving certificate or an equivalent qualification. The admission procedure for the bachelor programme in International Wine Business involves a topic-based admission interview, which will be held in the language of instruction (English).
