In addition to the core area of game development and game publishing much of the thematically related areas are strongly oriented towards video games. Especially in the area of interactive media, e.g. in the worldwide web or in so-called apps, paradigms from the world of video games are increasingly being used.

Definition of the field of studies

The master’s degree programme in Game Studies and Engineering is an interdisciplinary programme instructing students in technical as well as analytical and ethical issues regarding Video games and other games.
