Im Zentrum des sechssemestrigen künstlerischen Doktoratsstudiums der JAM MUSIC LAB Privatuniversität steht innovative künstlerische Forschung (Artistic Research) mit besonderem Fokus auf künstlerische Praktiken in Jazz und Popularmusik. Ziel des Doktoratsstudiums ist die Ausbildung des Nachwuchses zur selbständigen künstlerischen Forschung unter Einbeziehung der aktuellen künstlerischen Entwicklungen und des aktuellen, internationalen Forschungsstands.
