Master’s programme Instrumental and Vocal Education

The Master's degree in Instrumental and Vocal Pedagogy (IGP) deepens and expands the skills and competencies acquired in the Bachelor's degree in IGP, sharpens the individual artistic and pedagogical profile and thus prepares students for a career as a music teacher at a music school, at other educational institutions or in the freelance profession. A particular focus of the GMPU is on working at interdisciplinary music education interfaces, for example in the areas of music education, elementary music education or making music with instrumental or vocal classes in connection with general school lessons.
