Bachelor’s programme Architecture – Green Building

Content and focus of the degree programme:

This study programme is only available in German.

This programme is all about the future of architecture. At present buildings account for some 40 percent of the total energy consumption. As a graduate of the programme your aim will be to change this situation in the most creative way possible. In contrast to the university's traditional architecture course this practical bachelor's programme enables you to specialise in structural engineering projects involving buildings utilised for residential and commercial purposes. Rather than focusing on artistic and historical aspects you will focus on sustainability; from the designing and planning stage onwards you will take into account the lifecycle of a structure and apply long-term thinking to its construction. This programme will provide you with a high level of professional expertise in both engineering and project management. Both graduates of the bachelor's and master's degree programme in Architecture – Green Building at the FH Campus Wien and university graduates will have the possibility to use the professional title of “Architect” in the future.
