Content and focus of the degree programme:

The bachelor's degree degree course in Informatics offers a profound scientific education with a strong practical approach in the fields of information technologies and its areas of application. Informatics deals with the complex artificial systems for applications in almost all areas of life. In order to control these systems, i.e., to create, maintain and develop them, the students will learn the theoretical and practical basics required to do so. These are, e.g., concepts of programming, the functional principles of digital computers, operating systems, networks and databases. Each of these principles depends on the respective formal foundations.
