Master programme Informatics

Content and focus of the degree programme:

In the specialisation subjects of Practical and Theoretical Informatics students will expand their skills in the core informatics. They can further deepen their knowledge in a chosen specialisation subject. The following subjects are available: Artifical Intelligence, Business Information Systems, Data Science & Engineering, Distributed Systems, Human-Computer Interaction, Information & System Security, Multimedia Systems and Software Engineering.

Definition of the field of studies

The degree programme enables its graduates to develop high-quality computer-aided problem solutions, to manage the problem-solving process efficiently and effectively as well as to design the profitable use of solutions based on methods and techniques of informatics. Students will acquire sound knowledge and skills in the field of informatics, its fields of application as well as knowledge of economic interrelations. Methodological, social and individual skills that are necessary for a successful creation, implementation and profitable use of informatics systems complete the profile.
