Whether it is sports equipment or athletics – the interdisciplinary master’s programme in Sports Technology focuses on the combination of sports and technology. An idea for a new piece of sports equipment is to be implemented or an existing piece of sports equipment is to be optimized, a certain movement has potential for improvement – to be able to work on these and other tasks related to sports equipment or a sporting movement various technical skills are required, which are taught in applied form in the master’s programme in Sports Technology.

Das Double Degree Programm des Master Studienganges Sports Technology bietet den Studierenden die Möglichkeit sowohl den Abschluss der FH Technikum Wien als „Master of Science in Engineering“ als auch den Abschluss der Mid Sweden University (Östersund, Schweden) als „Master of Science“ zu erlangen. Die Studierenden besuchen im ersten und zweiten Semester die Lehrveranstaltungen des Master Studienganges Sports Technology an der FH Technikum Wien und können sich im Laufe des ersten Semesters für das Double Degree Program bewerben. Sollte man einen der fünf Plätze erhalten, so absolviert man das dritte und vierte Semester im Master by Research: Mechanical Engineering / Sports Technology an der Mid Sweden University.
