The rising demand for engineering solutions in all areas of technology, especially in the mechatronics arena, often require new strategies and a high degree of methodological and theoretical integration of previously separate disciplines. To reach these goals, the Technical Sciences doctoral programme will help students to reinforce and enhance the knowledge acquired. They will acquire the skills to design and conduct research independently, prepare original contributions to research issues in the technical sciences, publish their research results in international journals, and present and defend their work at national and international conferences.
