In principle, doctorates are conferred in the field of artistic-scholarly research for the Doctoral Programme in Artistic Research of the MUK. Individual doctoral projects can focus on the following six research areas: Contemporary theatre, Interpretive research, Composition/Music theory, Arts and cultural education, Performance art, Contemporary dance.
