The course’s special profile is due to the combination of two academic disciplines: The students can either study both musicology and dance studies as a combined course or choose one of the two subjects as their main field. The synergy of musicology and dance studies promotes an innovatice concept of cultural studies. The focus on one hand is on opera, ballet, performance, musicals, film and digital media and on the other hand on recordings, documentation and interpretation of music and dance.
