Midwifes work both as employees in hospitals and primary care centres and as freelancers in private practice: outpatient clinics, antenatal ward, delivery room and postnatal ward, home obstetrics, attending midwife, midwife consultations, antenatal care, prenatal care and postnatal care, breastfeeding counselling, maternity consultations and early help, university teaching, research.
