In financial and actuarial mathematics, in addition to the traditional domain of life and pension insurance mathematics, there are numerous new tasks that require specialised knowledge. These include, in particular, areas such as property insurance, asset-liability management, financial risk management, financial market modelling and derivative valuation and hedging.
