Content and focus of the degree programme:

Export-oriented Management is a business bachelor programme targeting students who are interested in communication and open for meeting new people from different cultures. Internationally focused, comprehensive training in business administration, economics and management with special emphasis on business administration for foreign trade. Developing an open-minded approach to collaboration with people from other countries is a central theme. The programme offers a choice of two additional foreign languages as well as skills-based modules and courses in intercultural management, international law and global political studies. The bachelor programme is offered in a full-time format. The language of instruction is English.

Exams

The bachelor programme includes subjects such as “Accounting I + Exercises“, “Accounting II“, “Managerial Accounting“, “Economic Areas I“, “Economic Areas II“, “Economic Areas III“, “Micro and Macro Economics“, “International Economics“, “Trade History and Organisations“, “Finance and Investment“, "Controlling“, “Organisation Theory“, “Principles of Business Administration“, “Private Law“, “Geo Political Affairs“, “Business Law“, “International Marketing and Sales I“, “International Marketing and Sales II“, “Human Resource Management I“, “Management Simulation“, “Purchase and Logistics I“ and “Purchase and Logistics II. Moreover, one of the specialisations “International Management and Business“, “Human Resource and Intercultural Management“ or “International Law and Global Political Studies“ must be chosen. An internship must also be done. Towards the end of the degree programme two bachelor theses must be written.

Entrance examinations

To qualify for admission to the bachelor programme Export-oriented Management you must have an Austrian secondary school leaving certificate or an equivalent qualification. Applications with foreign secondary school leaving certificates will be verified individually for equivalence with the Austrian general university entrance qualification. The admission procedure for the bachelor programme Export-oriented Management involves a topic-based admission interview, which will be held in the language of instruction (English).
