The master’s programme consists of subjects such as “Strategic Management and Planning“, “Corporate Strategies“, “Business and Project Development“, “Change Management and New Management Methods“, “Corporate Governance and International Conduct“, “International Management Simulation“, “International Business and Strategic Change“, “Research Seminar and Preparation for Master Thesis“ and “Research and Coaching Seminar“. Moreover, students can specialise in “Foreign Trade Techniques and Financing“, “International Marketing and Sales“, “Finance and Controlling“, “Purchase and Logistics“, “International Law and Global Political Studies“, or “Human Resource and Intercultural Management“. The programme concludes with a master’s thesis.
Entrance examinations
To qualify for admission to the master’s programme in International Business and Export Management you must have obtained a bachelor’s or university diploma in Business Administration or a related subject at a recognised institution of higher education in Austria or abroad. Minimum number of ECTS credits required: 180. All applicants who are neither native speakers of English nor have completed the entire courses of the qualifying preliminary studies lectured in English have to provide as an additional requirement an English language certificate. Sufficient proof of English language proficiency by means of IELTS 7.0, TOEFL minimum score 95 or Cambridge Certificate Level C1. The admission procedure for the master’s programme in International Business and Export Management involves an assessment of your application file and an admission interview, which will be held in the language of instruction (English). This one-on-one interview either takes place in Krems or will be held on Skype.
