The master's degree programme in English as a teaching subject serves to acquire an education and further education at tertiary level in the teaching profession. The students are increasingly introduced to independent knowledge acquisition, independent further education and an open and critical examination of the social environment of the countries of the respective language areas. In the master's programme they will enhance their skills in language mastery and in dealing with methods of linguistics, literature and cultural studies.
