MUSIKTHEORIE wird als Schnittstelle von musiktheoretischer Reflexion, historisch-systematischer wissenschaftlicher Forschung und künstlerischer Praxis verstanden. Schwerpunkte dabei sind Studien historischer Stile, musikalische Strukturen in Aufführungspraxis, Interpretation und Hörerfahrung, Grundlagen für eigenständige wissenschaftliche Forschung u.v.m.
